Condolence: A very close friend passed away, and many were grieving. His sister was promised: “Your brother will rise.” Martha then expressed her confidence in that promise by saying: “I know he will rise in the resurrection on the last day.” That’s the same confidence you can have too, that in the very near future, those we’ve lost will return to life in a future resurrection. You have my deepest sympathies. I have great memories of your mom. Eileen ordered my first guitar through Sears and when I picked it up I had this big goofy grin and she said to me "Well, I know why you look so happy."
The last time I saw Eileen was at her home during the high school reunion and she reminded me of a time that Greg and I and two of our friends sat around the kitchen table playing euchre on a Saturday night. And yes, I believe we raided the fridge on that night. Great memories, thanks Eileen.
