Condolence: Dear Marj, Dave, Paul, Terri, Ann, John and all of my cousins:
I offer you my deepest sympathy at the loss of Queenie. She was the heart and soul of your family for an incredible 94 years, and I know it must be so hard to say goodbye.
Family was everything to Aunt Queen and her door and her heart were always open to us. Growing up, Aunt Queen always had time for me when I stopped in for a visit, and she would ask me questions and speak to me in her attentive and soft-spoken way - she had this way of making you feel special. I was always intrigued when she shared stories about the Bowers and Sterrett families. Aunt Queen had taken care of Craig and I when we were very young, and that's where our bond began.
I also have fond memories of the lively exchanges between my aunts and uncles at family get togethers - laughter would always fill the room! Aunt Queen had a great laugh that I won't forget.
All this to say that Aunt Queen was an important person in my life and I will cherish my memories of her.
