GAVIN, JOHN "JACK"
On Wednesday, March 9th, 2016 at the Brockville General Hospital, Charles Street Site, Jack Gavin Peacefully entered into rest at the age of 84 years. Jack Gavin beloved husband of Maureen Connolly. Dear Father of Mary Ellen, Patrick, Carol Ann, Paul (Rhian) and Teresa (Larry). Cherished Grandfather of Sarah, Michael, Nicolas, Andrea, Samantha, Ethan, Ryan, Aiden, Liam, Jin, Aaron and Great grandfather of Sawyer, Corbin and Breyer. Dear brother of Paul (Barbara), Michael (Joyce) and Philip (Diane). He will be sadly missed by Maureen's children David and Stephen, his former spouse Joan Gavin, a daughter in-law Carol, sister in-law Mary and brother in-law Michael. Jack was predeceased by his parents Harold and Helen Gavin, a son Stephen and by a brother Peter. Also survived by many niece and nephews.

Jack had always been involved with sports, so it was no surprise when he became a coach to the Royal York Minor Hockey Association, and an M.T.H.L. Referee for many years. He was involved with the All Saints Church in Etobicoke as a Minister of the Eucharist a Reader and member of the Knights of Columbus.
