Condolences

Condolence From: Jean Macintosh
Condolence: My condolences to all of Molly's family.
She was a special person who many of us looked forward to visiting with on Saturday mornings at the Brockville Market.
She was so proud of her children and grandchildren and of course her Girl Guides!
You could always count on a friendly smile and usually a chuckle or two about something that had happened during the week.
She knew everyone's favorite flower and shared gardening tips that even the most hopeless individuals could follow.

Condolence: Adam, Nancy and family.

It was my honour to have known your mom. I met her on market as I worked downtown. She was always so cheerful - even on the rainy days she would be in her raincoat but always had a smile and cheerful greeting. i also met her in Maitland through Brownies and not only the children , but all of the "Owls" loved her too. I trust your wonderful memories will ease the pain you are feeling.5

Condolence: My sincere condolences Adam and Nancy whom I never had the pleasure to meet and to her extended families. I am so sorry for your loss. I remember my time with her at girl guides "I promise to do my best". She was part of our euchre and exercise club. when she told me she bought a new winter jacket, I made her a matching scarf and she was so proud of such a little thing I did for her. She will be in our hearts forever.

We remember Molly as a Jolly, Happy Woman, known to give her time to many!

Don & I have a Perennial Lilly Garden from some bulbs from Molly's past garden. It really explodes with colour every summer, we always remember her generosity.

Condolence:

To the family of Molly:

Truly sorry to hear of your loss. A Saturday morning trip to the Brockville Market was never complete without a Hello Luv! from Molly. My Mom was a loyal customer for years & even after she went into a nursing home, I would stop by to see Molly for Lisianthus bouquets for her room, her favourite flowers.

Molly would laugh every Saturday as I had and still do have a problem saying that word! Michael how many times do I need to tell you it is pronounced Lizianthus!

Nice to see that local people like Koren of Brokor Greenhouses are picking up where she & Martin left off.

Not everything needs to come from a supermarket.

My sincere condolences she was one of a kind.

Mike Milne, Ottawa & Hudson Point Brockville.

Condolence: Molly and I shared a name and we always got a chuckle out of that. I remember her a being a warm and affectionate Brown Owl whom all the girls loved. She was always energetic and welcoming. I only ever saw her smiling. Her loss will be felt by many young women and our community will be poorer for it, but heaven has a wonderful new citizen. God bless you, Molly. My sincere condolences to the family.

Condolence: Molly was one of the first people I met after we moved to Canada when I was 6 years old. She changed my life immeasurably. She noticed the little girl across the road and came and asked if I would like to go tobogganing with her Brownies. I'd barely even seen snow before and had no idea what tobogganing even was! It was only one of the firsts that this remarkable, generous woman brought into my life. I'm only one of the hundreds of young girls, many now grown women, she touched and changed with her undying love, compassion and spirit. She truly will be missed.

Nancy and Adam, your mother was one in a million. I wish there were words enough to ease your grief. My heart goes out to you and all the family.

Condolence: Nancy, Adam and family,
It was with great sadness that I learned that your mother has passed away. Molly, "Brown Owl," was truly a unique person who was an inspiration to those many lives she touched. Indeed she was a tireless volunteer in our community and in the world-wide girl guide movement. Molly's ability to see the unique qualities and strengths of each young girl was truly remarkable. She was able to motivate girls at all levels with enthusiasm and joy. I have long seen your mother as a role model and am thankful to have had the opportunity to know her well for so many years when growing up. I know that none of these words can take away the loss that you feel but over time, I do hope that the memories of all the lives your mom touched and inspired brings you comfort.
