The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gilles Trudeau can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Dear Germaine & family
I wish to extend our deepest sympathies to all of you for the loss of a wonderful man. I have so many fond memories from years gone by, many laughs , many years , but memories I'll cherish forever. Gilles was a wonderful man always there to lend a helping hand to all that needed it. He & Getmaine were always there for us, especially for my mom. You have been great friends, this I cherish forever. He suffers no more and is at peace in God's beautiful garden. Heaven gained another precious angel. Fly high Gilles , till we meet again.
God bless you all

Condolence: Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of your husband, father and grandfather... I have known Gilles and Germaine for a very long time. They were very god friends of my parents Jeanne and Denis Chagnon. I saw Gilles in BGH emergency last week and we had a laugh... I remembered that they babysat me when I was very little.. RIP Gilles

Condolence: Mr Trudeau was an extended member of our family (Lambert) who will be dearly missed. He was always there for me during times of need; especially with my many trips to the hospital when I was younger. He put a smile on everyone’s faces with his sense of humour, especially during our coffee visits at Burger King or McDonalds. Mr Trudeau is now in heaven with my dad probably both reading the Sun newspaper commenting on the headlines. Mr Trudeau; my husband and I will especially remember your big smile and bright eyes when your face lit up during our last visit with you at Wedgwood retirement home. Our prayers will always be with you. May you Rest In Peace.
