The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Terry Bass can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

My heart is truly broken. Terry (Trent as I called him for the last 28 years) was my family... My Canadian Tire brother. We spent 20 years working side by side. He was the most interesting person to have a conversation with. His knowledge of history was amazing but his passion for his work knowledge was even more impressive. Even to this day I would call him from Newfoundland if I had a question about something I knew only he would know. His humour was second to none. There are so many stories over the years. Building that store on Prescott centre drive was memorable but our small TEAM at the old store had a closeness for each other... Terry would do anything for you. Even crawl down into the trash compactor for a Boston cream donut (true story Lol) His passing will leave a hole in everyone’s life. He was a true friend. When he moved up to the 21st centrury and a cellphone and then Facebook it made it easier for me to keep in touch. Oh and his humour shined through some of his comments on my postings about Newfoundland weather.
My deepest deepest condolences to you all. I will miss his presence in the Prescott store
